Who I Am:

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Joe Band. Yes, that's my real last name from birth. I'm a professional Romantic Vocalist specializing in songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's. My repertoire includes standards, oldie's and country pop crossover hits. I grew up on Long Island in New York and have been entertaining since 1965. I attended Hicksville High School in Nassau County. My group competed against Billy Joel's group in the 1965 Hicksville High School Battle of the Bands contest. As you may have guessed, Billy Joel's group won the contest. That however, did not discourage me from pursuing a career in music.

Where I Have Performed:

In addition to entertaining at numerous private parties in the Long Island area, I have also performed at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville, The Sun Vet Mall in Holbrook, The Concord Hotel in the Catskill Mountains and the Estates II Condominium in Manhasset.

My Wife and Partner:

Tanya, my technical assistant, was born in Russia. She attended the Music Conservatory in St. Petersburg and taught Music Theory & History at the University level for over 20 years before coming to the United States. She is also an accomplished pianist. Her advice on selecting the best musical arrangements for the songs I sing has been invaluable.

After my show, you and your guests will be invited up to sing on my state of the art laser Karaoke equipment. I have over 3500 different song titles in my library to choose from. The selection covers every popular music category.
